Members in Utah, Colorado, Nevada and Wyoming Band Together
As the newest chapter to join the American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA) family, the Rocky Mountain chapter will serve AFSA members from Colorado, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming. The newly formed chapter met for the first time on August 20 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the Millward Insurance Agency.
The newly elected chapter officers include: Chairman Brent Heiner, The Safety Team LLC, Layton, Utah; Vice Chairwoman Marcela Wardle, A1 Fire Sprinklers, Salt Lake City, Utah; Executive Director Adam Millward, Millward Insurance Agency, Salt Lake City, Utah; and Treasurer/Secretary Kelly Carver, The Safety Team LLC, Layton, Utah. Other members in attendance at the chapter’s first meeting include Dieter Peck of A1 Fire Sprinklers in Salt Lake City, Utah; Dustin Moser of Certified Fire Protection, Inc. in Las Vegas; and Mike Harris and Gordon Smith of Firetrol Protection Systems in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Leaders regard AFSA as a top organization for fire sprinkler industry professionals. The Rocky Mountain chapter joins AFSA’s 20 chapters across the nation dedicated to the betterment of the fire protection industry.
The Rocky Mountain chapter offers members interaction with other industry professionals, training in matters pertaining to the fire sprinkler business, and the opportunity to learn more about the business and others in it. Contractors, Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), manufacturers, suppliers, or other AFSA members in the states of Colorado, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming are eligible for membership.
